School Camps / Education Outside the Classroom

Education outside the classroom has a strong emphasis at our school, developing the whole child through wide and varied experiences.
Each year various camps and trips are held that encourage children to try new things and experience a wide range of outdoor activities that develop their self confidence.

Whole School Camp & Senior Camp
At the beginning of each year we hold a Whole School Camp, which is usually a night in tents here at school with our whaanau, and day trips to local places such as the Southern Enclosure of Maungatautari.

Our Senior Camp for all year 5/6 students takes place annually in November. In the past we have been to Waihi, Port Waikato, Waitomo and Wellington.
