Our staff team are passionate about their roles within our kura, always striving to provide the best care, support and education for ngaa tamariki. We are a varied bunch, coming from different countries and backgrounds! Click on each staff member to learn more about them.
This year we have been excited to welcome two dynamic additions to our leadership and teaching team!
Mr Zach Mercer-Bootten has jumped into the role of Deputy Principal, bringing an expertise and forward-thinking approach to our school. Zach is teaching our year 5 and 6 students in Room 5.
Mrs Joanna McIntyre, a familiar and vibrant local figure to the Roto-o-Rangi community, has joined us as an experienced new entrant teacher whose passion and energy is invaluable as she guides our youngest learners in Room 1.
We also welcomed back Mrs Sarah Hamilton, who returned from parental leave, to cover teacher release days. Sarah will also be in Room 5 to cover Zach's leadership and SENCO release.
A strategic reshuffle of our teaching roles and classes has taken place for this year. We believe that purposeful change fosters growth, adaptability and new energy, benefiting our students and staff members.
