Teacher Room 4 (Year 4/5), ELL and Specialist Literacy Support Teacher

Mrs Hall joined us mid-way through 2025, taking over the shared teaching of Room 4 from Sarah Hamilton. Doretta brings a wealth of teaching experience and knowledge to our school, from her many years as an educator across Aotearoa New Zealand. Mrs Hall's students particularly love her adventurous approach to any subject, that often sees them working outside of the classroom exploring the wonders of nature and science!
For 2026, Mrs Hall remains in Room 4 but this year teaching Years 4 and 5 - a shared role with Mrs Morris.
One day per week, Mrs Hall works solely in her specialist teaching role, providing additional support for Literacy and ELL (English Language Learner) students. Contact us for more information on how we support students learning English as a second language.
