Cross Country

Our cross country training starts in Term 3 and all children are encouraged to give it a go.  Our annual Cross Country event is held in September each year at the Wallis Farm & Quarry, where our tamariki run across spectacular countryside with very challenging hill climbs! We invite all our whaanau to come along and cheer them on.

Each year all students also compete in the Rural Schools Cross Country event at Lake Karaapiro racing against the other Cambridge Rural schools.  The top six from each senior age group then form the Rural Team to compete at the Cambridge Interschools Cross Country event.
