Roto Cross Country

Our annual Cross Country event takes place on the afternoon of Friday 23rd August. All whaanau are welcome to attend! A notice will come out to let you know the details, so check the homepage as it will display there from Skool Loop.

Rural Schools' Cross Country

Friday 6th September 2024

Our whole school heads off to Karaapiro Domain to have a fun-packed day of cross country with the other Rural Schools of Cambridge! Check the notice for more info.

InterSchools' Cross Country

Friday 6th September 2024

Students aged 8 and up who placed at the Rural Schools' event will be put forward for the Rural Team, competing against other local schools from our area.

Touch Rugby

Term 4 2024

Both Hautapu and Leamington sports clubs will be putting together touch teams for Term 4 this year, entering them into the Hautapu Sports Touch Tournament. Our closet club is Leamington, but it is entirely up to you which club you register to play for. All registrations must be done through the club links below, and do not come via our school.

The tournament will have three grades; Year 3/4, Yr 5/6, and Yr 7/8.

Games will be played at Memorial Park, Taylor St, Cambridge on Friday afternoons/evenings.
The first round will begin at 4 pm and half hourly after that.
Games will comprise 2 x 12-minute halves with a 2-minute halftime.
Year 3/4 games will be played first, then Year 5/6 followed by Year 7/8.
The module will start on Friday the 8th October 2024 and run for 8 weeks finishing on Friday, the 6th December 2024.
Junior touch players will be sorted into teams containing a mix of boys/girls and the two year groups in their grade.
All players will need sneakers or touch shoes, no BARE FEET.
Players will wear Club Singlets and blue or black shorts.
Fees are $40 per child.
