Sun Safety

 

 

We are a Sun Safe school.  Children should wear appropriate clothing, taking into a ccount weather conditions and/or any activity the child may be involved in.

All clothing should be named.  

We require students to wear a wide brim hat, such as the school bucket hat, when they are outside during Terms 1 and 4. Baseball style caps do not provide enough sun protection. 

The school hat can be purchased from the office at a cost of $15.00 per hat.  We are also fortunate our school grounds have significant shade areas created by trees and purpose built shade areas so that children can enjoy playing outdoors in specific areas if they forget their hat.
