Rural Schools' Swimming Sports

Roto-o-Rangi is organising and running the Rural Schools’ Swimming Sports.
We only have access to the St Peter's School outdoor pool, hence only 8 year olds and up will be attending. All students aged 8 years and up are expected to attend.
This is the one event Roto-o-Rangi School organises for the Rural Schools and so we need an extra effort from the parents to support with it's operation. Parent support on the day is mainly: timekeepers, marshalls, etc. Being a timekeeper/marshall places you at the water's edge to see your child's races!!
We will use the school bus to transport students, but will still need help getting some children to and from the event.
All students attending will need to bring their togs, 2 towels, sunhat, sunblock, clothes to change into, a warm sweatshirt or 2 to wear between races, a drink bottle and plenty to eat.
The top 2 placegetters in each race are selected for the Rural Schools' Team to compete at the Inter-school Swimming Sports on the 4th April.
