We have worked hard to get our Kapa Haka up and running, but it has been a bumpy road. Sadly, we are once again without a tutor so the search continues. If you believe you could help us out with this, please get in touch.
2022 - Student coaches from Cambridge High School: Kimiora, Kawiti and Te Kore.
2023 - Whaea Rangiamoa & Whaea Kahurangi were our tutors, taking us to the Cambridge Kapa Haka Festival for the first time.
2024 - Cambridge High School supported us again, with Matua Te Taonga coaching our tamariki. We performed at the festival in August and noticed just how much our tamariki had grown in confidence and ability.
2025 - Te Kore Poka (Ngaati Koroki Kahukura, Ngaati Haua) returned to coach our kapa. Our first year of whole school involvement. Sadly this came to and end mid-year, and we have been without Kapa Haka since.
