Roto Senior and Junior swimming sports

Time: 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Only children aged 8 and above will attend the Senior Swimming Sports at Cambridge High School. There may be some very capable 7 yr olds who can confidently swim 25m in a variety of strokes who might be invited - their teacher will let you know if your child has been asked to attend.
Parents may take their children directly to the CHS rather than coming out to Roto first.
Children will participate in the 3 swimming strokes (Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle) and compete in age levels and over the appropriate distances for their skill level. More details will be sent out closer to the date.
When the Seniors finish at CHS, all students will return to school in the afternoon. We will return to school around lunchtime.
The Juniors will hold their swimming sports in the Roto-o-Rangi School pool.The Juniors (7yr olds and younger) will be doing their swimming display and fun races in the school pool.
Their swimming sports will start after lunch.
