Winter Sports in Cambridge are organised by local sports clubs rather than Primary Schools. During March the clubs will offer open days for public to visit them and potentially sign their children up for teams.

Two Cambridge clubs are offering Junior Hockey this year, and registrations are now open! The club you sign with is entirely your choice.

Leamington Rugby and Sports Club

Leamington Rugby Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play primary school and intermediate hockey.

Primary hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings on the hockey turf at St Peters Private School, Cambridge Road. Teams play in either of two grades, year 3 & 4 and year 5 & 6.

It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing hockey. This module is administered by Cambridge Mini Hockey.

All games are six aside and played on a ¼ turf. As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.
