Winter Sports, which encompasses Rugby, Netball and Hockey, are now being run through the local sports clubs rather than Primary Schools. During March the clubs will offer open days for public to visit them and potentially sign their children up for teams.
In Cambridge, Junior Rugby is offered through Leamington Rugby & Sports Club, and Hautapu Sports Club. The club you sign with is entirely your choice. Most of our families sign with Leamington as it is closest to our school.
Rippa Rugby teams are available for new entrants to year 2 children. Games are played on Friday afternoons, either at Hautapu or Leamington rugby grounds.
Tackle rugby is for year 3-6 children and is played at a range of locations on a Saturday morning.
Junior Rugby is available for Years 0-8; Rippa Rugby for the little ones, Year 0-2, and Tackle for the big kids!
We focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing rugby. We love that our club is family orientated and we cater to local families at all levels.

To register your child for Junior Rugby with Leamington head to Rugby Xplorer to create a profile. Add Leamington Rugby Club as your club and you will be prompted to continue to register. Both boxes at payment need to be ticked to be invoiced later in the year.
